TeleComputing acquires Swedish IT-company Excanto

TeleComputing has entered into an agreement to acquire the Swedish IT-company Excanto. - We aim to be the customers’ optimal partner for business development in the Nordics.

With Excanto on board we are further strengthening our position in Sweden generally, and among Norwegian and Swedish customers in real estate especially, says CEO Terje Mjøs.

Excanto is an industry leader in IT-solutions for real estate in Sweden. Excanto provides swift access to the internet through its own fiber networks, and offers secure and high-speed infrastructure. Excanto are experts in Hybrid Cloud Services, and provides the service Excanto eDesktop®, a secure virtual solution accessible from any PC or mobile device.

– The technology is rapidly evolving in real estate, as in other industries. With Excanto in the team we are now taking further steps to become the customers’ best partner on digitalization, says Mjøs.

So far in 2018, TeleComputing has acquired five other companies, and the strengthening of Cloud expertise and advisory capacity is important.

The acquisition of integration specialist iBiz Solutions this spring, and the newly acquired IT-companies 99X, Keystep, Digisys and LanTeam, are key pieces of TeleComputing's plans for further growth.

– Customers are eager to embrace the opportunities in the cloud, but they require assistance and advice on how to do so. We are experiencing high demand for excellent integration solutions and security services, and our goal is to offer the leading expertise on Hybrid Cloud-services as a platform for digital transformation, says Mjøs.

CEO of Excanto, Marcus Lindstedt, is pleased that Excanto will become a part of TeleComputing. - Excanto`s services and customer portfolio are a good match with TeleComputing's expertise on hybrid cloud solutions, IT-operations and integrations. Together, we will be a in a stronger position in the Nordic market, and are able to provide improved services to our customers in a fast-growing market, says Lindstedt.

The sum of the acquisition is not disclosed.

With the acquisitions of Excanto, LanTeam, Keystep, 99X in addition to iBiz Solutions and Digisys announced earlier this year, TeleComputing will have a pro forma revenue on full year basis of 2,4 billion NOK and have 1.100 employees across 11 locations in 4 countries.
