All large organisations rely on having a robust communications platform. All of its members should have the same access to tools and resources in order for them to collaborate in a seamless and effective manner.
TeleComputing works with some of the largest organizations in the Nordic region, with both paid and unpaid membership.
KNIF is a community consisting of nearly seventy christian organizations from the whole of Norway. Many of KNIF’s members asked for an IT service agreement and we are happy that KNIF Procurement chose TeleComputing to deliver that agreement.
Thanks to that agreement, KNIF’s member organisations now have access to modern and future-oriented cloud-based solutions.
Organizations are nothing without their members. Whether or not your members pay, every organisation depends on its community to deliver its goals. How you handle your membership determines its capacity for collaboration and, not least, fundraising.
At TeleComputing, we have extensive experience of working with membership organisations and with the highly specific challenges they face.
Around-the-clock availability, nationwide
It’s important to be where your members are. Organizations tend to have many smaller offices nationwide, so it doesn’t help having your main IT operations at the head office in Oslo when there are IT problems in Bodø.
We have around-the-clock support every day of the year, and staff who are ready to assist you wherever you may be.
You have far more important work to do than run IT systems, patch security holes and manage servers. Your organisation is better served by letting you concentrate on solving global issues, securing better working conditions or raising money to cure diseases.
In order to achieve these goals, you need to focus on your core activity, and that’s not IT operations. Fortunately, this is TeleComputing’s core activity, and has been for more than 20 years! We can help you spend less time worrying about your computer systems and more time helping other people.
The contract offers favourable conditions at the right price, as well as access to effective IT solutions well suited to KNIF and the individual organisations.

Your company pays per user, This makes the cost very predictable and flexible.
Whether you need to expand or downsize, you can be spared the problem of doing so with your current IT solution or any unnecessary costs.
All of your data will be stored safely and securely in Norway. The data management contract ensures that the solution will be set up in accordance with the Norwegian Data Inspectorate’s requirements for complying with privacy protection regulations. In this way you avoid the risk of having files or e-mails stored outside of the country.
At TeleComputing we believe you should do whatever you’re best at. We believe you’re best at production and that our strength lies in IT operations. Our core activity is ensuring that your IT systems are always up to date, that your data is secure at all times and that all your employees have access to the programs and files they need to do a good job.
Many of our customers employ their staff on a 24-hour rota system, which means it is crucial for them to be able to call us at any time of the day or night to get immediate assistance, be that 10:00 pm or 3:00 am. We never close and are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Thanks to our agreement, KNIF’s member organizations have access to modern and future-oriented cloud-based solutions.

Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure play key positions in our service provision
Office 365 occupies a natural position within every business or organisation. No other productivity tool is as inclusive or can offer collaborative working to the same degree as the latest office package from Microsoft. This is Office at its best – always up to date and on all of your devices.
However, IT is not always about providing office support alone: most businesses have a range of business-critical applications. Critical solutions deserve secure and optimised technical platforms based on technology from Microsoft and other leading players. For this we can offer, among other things, Microsoft Azure cloud services either from Microsoft’s international data centres or locally from our secure sites in Norway.
If you need a combination of the very latest technology and more traditional solutions using older applications, we can offer this with hybrid services that combine the traditional and tried-and-tested with the market’s latest and most innovative technology.
Our customers represent a wide cross-section of Nordic business. We currently handle IT operations for, among others, major private health providers, consultancy firms, auditing and legal service providers, companies in the construction, offshore and shipping sectors, property management companies and finance and insurance houses.
We also have many customers in the industrial and wholesale and retail sectors, as well as customers in a range of organisations and associations.
This gives us unique insight into IT operations for different requirements – knowledge that will benefit you in the shape of better and more innovative solutions for secure, efficient and uncomplicated IT operations.
Additionally, you can be assured of a substantial reduction in your IT operating costs.

“TeleComputing has been assisting us on our digital journey since 2005. A lot has changed on the way, both for ourselves and for TeleComputing, with respect to the scope, complexity and composition of our service agreement.
We praise TeleComputing’s willingness to do whatever is needed to include solutions that fall outside of their own framework to enable us, together, to deliver a complete service to our colleagues.”
